He/she functions under the Lead Server/Kitchen Manager. The RA is an important asset to us at Prairie Ridge of Galena. This employee provides personal care and related services to our residents. He/she functions under the Nursing Director and may be a Certified Nurse's Aide but this is not required. Staff Nurse
The overall purpose of the Staff Nurse position is to participate in and oversee the assurance of the provision of resident care services consistent with accepted standards of care. The health care professionals are skilled in all phases of the nursing process. He/she is adaptable to the needs of the individual and family during health and illness and has the ability to prioritize. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates daily resident care.
