Prairie Ridge of Galena is pleased to announce that we have scheduled our Covid-19 Prairie Ridge community vaccination for residents and employees using the Pfizer vaccine. We are enrolled in Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program for COVID-19 Vaccination which provides end-to-end management of the COVID-19 vaccination process, including cold chain management, on-site vaccinations, and fulfillment of reporting requirements, to facilitate safe vaccination of the Prairie Ridge community. Walgreens will be our pharmacy partner through the vaccination process, and we will host three clinics for our residents and staff to be vaccinated:
· 1st Clinic – January 18th
· 2nd Clinic – February 8th
· 3rd Clinic – March 1st
Prairie Ridge highly encourages all of the residents and staff to participate in the vaccination program, but it is not a requirement. Thank you for all your support and trust you have given to us as we continue to protect our residents and team members from the Covid-19 virus. It has been a challenging time, but we remain hopeful and look forward to a future without a distance of six feet separating loved ones.
